Arthritis & Osteoporosis Treatment Center, P.A. (AOTC) is a physician-owned outpatient specialty practice serving patients across Northeast Florida. We provide comprehensive rheumatology care including clinical visits, in-house infusion services, radiology, and laboratory support. Our mission is to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our expanding practice. The physician will evaluate and treat patients with autoimmune, musculoskeletal, and connective tissue diseases, collaborate with a strong care team of advanced practitioners, nurses, and support staff, and contribute to the continued growth of our infusion and specialty services.
This opportunity is available as part-time or full-time, with flexibility to design a schedule that balances patient care needs and physician lifestyle.
Position Details:
Position is available in Early Spring/Summer 2026
Can be part-time or full-time
Can be rheumatology board-eligible (e.g. obtain certification within 1 year of starting the position)
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: Competitive, ranging from $180K–$325K+ (based on full-time)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, and related disorders.
Interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results relevant to rheumatology.
Collaborate with advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs), infusion center staff, and medical assistants to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
Participate in infusion therapy oversight, including biologics and specialty medication management.
Document patient encounters in compliance with CMS and payer requirements.
Contribute to practice initiatives for quality improvement, MIPS reporting, and patient satisfaction.
Optional: Participate in community outreach, research opportunities, or teaching/preceptorship.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship.
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology.
Active or eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Interest in outpatient specialty practice with infusion therapy preferred.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Part-Time: 2–3 clinic days per week (flexible scheduling available).
Full-Time: 4–5 clinic days per week
Outpatient-only, no hospital rounding.
Supported by a dedicated team of NPs, infusion nurses, medical assistants, and billing staff.
