About Dr. Lonesky
Timothy Lonesky, DO, is a board-certified rheumatologist and the founder of Lake Cumberland Rheumatology, which he started in 2009. Under his leadership, the practice has expanded to four locations across two states. [confirm current count]
A committed voice for independent rheumatology in his region, Dr. Lonesky has served as President of the Kentucky-Indiana Rheumatology Alliance since 2011. He brings practical, hands-on experience in building and running a multi-site practice, including implementing medically integrated dispensing.
He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at UPMC Mercy, and completed his rheumatology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He lives in Somerset, Kentucky, with his wife and three children.
